You could of course phone up the Swiss Embassy or Consulate in Australia to confirm how they pronounce it.

Aime Constant Verpillot signed the Secretary to Department of External Affair's receipt for his Certificate of Naturalisation on 15 Sept 1915.   He had arrived in Australia 17 September 1912.   Today is only the 13th of September, many decades later.

I agree with fedelmar, things happen for a reason ....  It is best to make sure your efforts conform to the requirements of your school's assignment.
