Hi Kirsty,

Was Violet born in 1911?

If so, then the 1911 census seems to show that she had a brother Thomas born ca. 1891 and a brother David born ca. 1897 (as well as other sigblings born after 1901)

Do you have the 1901 census yet?

1901
RG13/4466 55 1

Rachel, wife, 31, b. Norfolk Kings Lynn
Thomas, son, 10, school, b. Yorks Hull
David, son, 4, school, b. do.
Herbert, son,1, b. do.

It very much looks like you have found the correct thomas

1901
Spyvee/ St Kingston on Hull Sculcoates
Thomas Langthorpe head 35 gen lab Keyningham Yorks
Rachel wife 31 Kings lynn Norfolk
Thomas son 10 Hull
David son 4 hull
herbert son 1 Hull
RG13 4466 55 1

the only Thomas i can find b Keyingham at correct time is
1871
Keyingham Yorks
John Langthorp head m 45 plumber & Glazier Patrington Yorks
Sarah wife 36 Hull
THOMAS son 9 keyingham Yorks
Arthur son 8 keyingham
Herbert son 6 Keyigham
Ann Eliabeth daughter 4 keyingham
John son 2 keyingham
Catherine Doran visitor W 43 Hull
RG10 4798 55 8

if you are able to purchase the marriage cert for Thomas and Rachel that should give father's name and occupation and so confirm you have the correct thomas

Thomas born 1891 was registered as Thomas Langthorp MOORE in Mar 1891 Sculcoates (not sure why he's on the 1891 census as Arthur T L Moore).

Only marriage I see:
June 1892 Kings Lynn 4b 595
Thomas Langthorpe - Rachel Moore

Thomas Langthorp was my grandfather's older brother - my grandfather William Langthorp 1876 - Thomas who married Rachel Moore 1861-1907.  Their father John Langthorp who married Sarah Bailey on 30 Sept 1861.  I was a Langthorp before marriage born in Hull but now in Australia.  John Langthorp born Patrington but all his children born Keyingham - he had 9 children
