TOMKINS family Liverpool 17

Hi,

 can anyone help please?

I'm looking for the Tomkins family in Liverpool 17.  I have Ernest Alfred Tomkins born 1897 Liverpool and am looking to find his parents.  Have tried ancestry but with no luck.  I think his dad was Ernest Tomkins.

According to his death reg - Ernest Alfred Tomkins was born 29.9.1897

The free 1911 index shows an Earnest (note spelling) Alfred Tomkins aged 12 living in West Derby Liverpool

Using only the free index shows it to be the same family as posted in 1901 with the addition of some more children

I lived in Brompton Avenue Liverpool 17 and played with Tommy Tomkins aged about 16 in 1962 (?). They lived around no. 28 .. I don't know how he spelled his name.
