Hi Sanz, have you looked on the IGI. I had a quick look and there are a few Thomas Pain/Payne listed for Dover and other places close by. Regards Poppyann

Hi Sanz, my name is Courtney Pain, i'm in Adelaide, SA. Can you please contact me re: the Pain/Payne surname? I've had a brief read thru a few of your posts here on rootschat, and i think we have a link. I havent gotten very far with my research (i'm a bit stuck on the part where my Pains came over to Australia from Kent, England, and prior to that event is an absolute blurr.. as I am currently running on events my nanna told me of a few years ago - she has since passed)
I'd love to get in contact with you to discuss any possible links we may have. My email address is email address removed in accordance with Rootschat policy - please use the secure Rootschat personal message system to exchange personal information thankyou.  The Rootschat message system will be automatically activated once a member has posted three times on the public boards.  (I'm also on facebook some of the time - Courtney Pain)
Thanks so much.
Courtney
