I have just joined and I am so appreciative to have found so much information already.

I am descended from Patrick Campbell's sister Rose Campbell who married Edward McNulty.

If you need any information I'd be glad to help and share.

I'd love to see some photos.

I know that there is also a gravestone of the William Campbell descent in the Long Tower Churchyard directly opposite the front entrance.

Best wishes,
Mary.

Hello Mary
Delighted to see your post. I have done a lot of research on Alderman Patrick Campbell. I have a few photos and certificates. I have also some information on the Mc Dermott and Cummings families also.
However you will have to post 3 times before we can send private messages. I am descended from Patricks second son James Francis.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
Summerhill

Hello Summerhill,

So nice to hear from you so soon...I wasn't sure if the trail was still open since I'm a new member.

Have you ever seen the plaque in the Guildhall dedicated to Patrick Campbell?

I was enquiring about it today but have to call back to get the 'man in the know'.

Best wishes,
Mary.

Hi again Mary.
Sorry to say I have never been to Derry as yet . I have not seen the plaque to Patrick Campbell either, but would love a photograph of it.

Unfortunately no luck in finding that plaque yet. Still trying to get in touch with the caretaker.

But I did find this photo of Roseanne Campbell, Patrick Campbell's sister, and her children, Ella, Bella, Mary-rose and Bernadette.

Best wishes,
Mary.
