Is it common to be imprecise with first names? Selina marries in Liverpool but registers as Mary Selina.
I've just looked at the census again, James marries Margaret Mary in 1924 as she was 21 but on the marriage register she is Mary. Also, my family knew either Margaret Mary or Selina as May Fortune.

Hi Jen 12   .....Am a fortune on my granny's side here in Bray... There was a Christopher and Margaret Fortune in Bray in 1814 when they baptized their son James.

my great aunt florence barnett married patrick j fortune he was born in wexford and lived in london, they had one child i am looking for anyone who is related to them too  ;D
