If we can't find sibling family would it be of value to look for cousins' family and if so would the male line or the female line be of more use for DNA matching?

I would post this on the Douglas Caswell thread if I could find it. There are so many threads now, I cant find what  I'm looking for. I found the info, I have tried to contact a lady on Ancestry.  I can't do much more short of ringing everyone in Newcastle with the same name as her.

Hi all,
Nelly Caswell is on an Ancestry tree, she had a daughter Honor Caswell Mclennan who has a living descendant.
I have sent a message to this person but she may no longer be a member of Ancestry.
There are three white pages listings in Newcastle for the same name as the living descendant.

Sorry for bumping the thread, but I've searched the site and cannot find a thread for Private Albert Dale.

I've recently found that my family are decendants of a brother of Albert Dale. However, I do realise we are not direct ancestors.

I've just had a look and can't find Albert Dale either. Highly likely I am missing something.   ;) Someone who knows more is sure to jump in and help soon.
