Wareing Family
« on: Saturday 02 May 09 12:24 BST (UK) »
looking for any of the Wareing Family who have connection to Charles, Bernard, Maurice, or Robert,  they are all deceased Charles Hodson Wareing born 28 June 1909 died 17 Feb 1999, Bernard born 1908? died 1980's? Marurice Vincent born 8 July 1916 died 31 Jan 1944, also Robert Jospeh born 8 July 1915 died 5 April 2005. Bernard and Charles where batchelors and lawyers in Birmingham. Parents were Charles Arthur Wareing and Jane Ellen Wareing nee Hodson.  Believe that there may be a Grandson of Maurice Vincent in the Malvern area still alive.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Dyan,

Im related to this family through my gt-grandfather William Wareing and Alfred Wareing who was grandfather of Charles and Bernard. Some years ago I spoke to Bob (Robert Joseph) Wareing who had researched his ancestors back to West Bromwich, where like me, he had hit a 'dead-end'. Do you know anything about the family history? They were neighbours in Erdington near Birmingham.

Dennis Wareing.

Hello both

Dennis will have to make another post before the Personal Message system is activated for him.

Congratulations on finding a link - and welcome to Rootschat, Dennis!

I'll move your thread, as you aren't doing a One Name Study

Kind regards, Arranroots  :)

Oh and p.s. please don't mention the details of living or recently deceased people on the open boards - thanks

Okay sorry about that - do another message Dennis and then it will activate your PM. I come from Erdington too, so you must have lived in Gravelly Hill. Bob is the one I had little contact with Charles and Bernard the lawyers were the ones I had most to do with and their Mum who was like a 2nd mother to me.

Its simple just click on my user name and it will take you to the PM at the bottom.  I have sent you a personal message which should show up on the top right hand corner. That way we can go off board.
