Bath and West Show
« on: Friday 01 May 09 22:00 BST (UK) »
I have a lovely photo of some 19th century Somerset ancestors and on the back my great uncle wrote 'Taken the first year that the Bath and West Show took place in Taunton'.  I read in Wikipedia that the show was first held outside Bath in 1859, but can get no further with dating the photo.  Can anyone suggest where I can go to find this piece of information?

The Bath & West do have an Archivist, who would possibly be able to help.
Perhaps an enquiry to the Secretary would advise of the archivists address.
