Hi, Does anyone out there have Greaves [travellers] in their Family Tree ??

My grandmother was Annie Foster [nee Greaves]  1898 - 1961
marriage certificate 1919 Chesterfield.....father William Greaves  [hawker / horse dealer] 

Think they may of originated from Derbyshire or Yorkshire, I'm unable to find William on any of the census

Hi

I have Greaves in my family tree. My mother always said that she believed the family have traveller history, but so far I haven't found anyone in the family who was a traveller/ hawker.

Where abouts did your ancestors come from? Ive done a lot of research on the greaves I may be able to help you.
