hi again mum it sounds like  the glass had all ready been made and they put it together then fitted it as i said a very skilled job well paid and possible well in demand.

It is Bristol St on the 1861 census, looks clearer on the previous page.
I forgot the census reference, it is RG9/ 2899 / 66, page 32.

Bristol St has gone now, it was in the Moss Lane area.  New Wakefield St is still there, by Oxford Rd Station.  Look it up on google maps, it is on Street View (a very Victorian looking brick wall - real brick, not the genealogy type of brick wall  ;D)
