IM TRYING TOO FIND OUT WHAT DISTRICT A BIRTH IN TREVETHIN WOULD HAVE BEEN REGISTRED IN 1849?
ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED

IVE CHECKED THE PARISH RECORDS SO MY ONLY HOPE IS TOO OBTAIN A BIRTH CERTIFICATE BUT THERE IS'NT ONE IN PONTPOOL FOR THAT YEAR

Pontypool would have been the registration district for Trevethin in 1849.

It was quite a large parish, do you have any idea in which area or village the birh took place?
