Not necessarily.  If he was dead the space for father's name might be left blank on the certificate, or it might say 'Father deceased' - giving no name at all, or it might actually give his name and state that he was deceased.

Please acknowledge when a restorer works on your photos, it can take hours for them to work their magic

Please scan at 300dpi minimum to help save the restorers eyesight.

she really changed her mind everytime a census was filled in!!!
Only once, really. Genuki tells us that Farley Hill is in the parish of Swallowfield, therefore her birth place is pretty consistent except for 1901  :D
