Just what trouble were you expecting ? It is a total fallacy that hackers hack into computers to cause disruption. In reality, the opposite is true. If a hacker gains access to your PC, he can read your emails, look at files, log the keystrokes that you type, and even use your PC to distribute spam. The last thing he would want is to make your PC do anything to suspect that your PC was doing anything out of the ordinary, because if you did, you might actually do something to curtail his activities.
Hackers don't hack into your PC to have fun - they do it to make money. If you read
this article you will learn how just 6 people in the Ukraine have managed to control a "botnet" of over 1,900,000 computers, many of which were in government departments and commercial establishments, and they were doing it to make money.
