I have found Threatfire to be excellent and free . I have got rid of all the other well known ones. Threatfire is very userfriendly too and doesn't use too much of your comp resources whilst running in the background continuously.

Ive just dowmloaded where it said down load..it only took a second unless im doing something wrong and if it has downloaded would a little icon of some kind be on my toolbar..

AVG download filesize is 61,573kb so you must have a pretty fast connection if you managed to download that in a second.
