« on: Thursday 23 April 09 16:39 BST (UK) »
I have looked and looked for this birth certifcate and bought lotsbut not  found him.
can anyone make a suggestion  of how to find him PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE..

I believe he is the  son of EDWARD PARRY.. Commercial traveller ( from his wedding certificate)

From the 1911 census he was born in Liverpool his brother  I believe  was  born in Chester 1880

I have census details and the birth certifcate i believe is David  his brother.
BUT STILL can not  find John Edward.
I have a great story on him  IFit is  indeed the  man I have been  following, but until  i get that  birth certificate i will naever be sure..

can anyone suggest how to get  it/findout about it/ where to look/ how toget someone to look  TO FIND  HIM

is there anywhere to actually look at records  before they are purchased??

I have so many wrong ones..

Hi Sweetlady

Welcome to rootschat  ;D

Are you able to give us some more information on your John Edward please.  What does it say on his marriage certificate -when did he marry - who are the witnesses - how old is he .  Can you tell us where you have him on a census to save us looking again.

Thanks
Rosie

wow  knew i had a  reply  but took me this  long to find it

derrr

John Edward  married in 1915    his  age  made him  born in 1878 occ  Time clerk
and in 1911  found he was born in Liverpool ( grew up in Birmingham ) and Occ  clerk

His father was Edward Parry  (dec) Commercial Traveler

His wife was Sarah Mallen, have all her  family  and John and Sarah were  living with her brother Henry in1911,  witness's to the marriage were henry mallen  and his wife

John Edwards  Son  John Henry Parry  was  born in 1906 !!!! (parents married  on birth certificate and in 1911 census)   the address on marriage  and  birth certificate and  in 1911 census,   was confirmed  by a living relatives.

what else can i tell you?

I do think I have the family  in the 1881  1891  1901  census  If  i am correct i THINK  i also have the parents  of  Edward, but  I can not  find the BIRTH certificate of John Edward  to confirm it..

Per freebmd

Births December qtr 1878

John Edward  Parry  West Derby  8b 272

As you know his fathers name, you could always send for a copy of the birth cert but put a condition on your application that you only want it if father was Edward.  If it’s the wrong one – you will only be charged a search fee of £3

There are four John Parrys whose births were registered in Liverpool in 1877 and 1878. Have you tried any of those? Have you ordered any certificates for Edward John rather than John Edward?

The ones I have sent for are not Edward either

It was  something I was  thinking about.. but if he was registered at  school  as John Edward surely  that must be his name?

Not necessarily. That would be too easy.  ;) ;D

You indicated that you think you have the family on the 1881 - 1901 census. I found the 1881 census entry and see his mother's name was Mary. Was she called Mary on each census?
