Thank you Cando,  Is Foster in Vic or NSW???
I have been searching for so long, I don't have a shipping record but I do know they came out with my Great Grandparent's, Martha's Brother Samuel Ironside and his wife Amy,
My Aunt found their wedding cert, and it had his Father as Robert, so your info must be right, I was told that maybe George was illegitimate...
Im just sooooo happy you found this for me, Thank you soooo much
:-) Roz

Here they are on the electoral rolls...

1914 Victoria
IRONSIDE Amy  Old Lead, Colbinabbin  HD
IRONSIDE Samuel  Old Lead Colbinabbin  Carter

1930,   NSW
IRONSIDE Amy   Batlow  HD
IRONSIDE Samuel  Batlow  Carter

and Amy with George Solomon IRONSIDE, labourer at Batlow in 1936.

Looks as though Eliza may be a transcription error on the shipping records.

Cheers

Thank you Cando

I wonder what year they moved to Batlow I know they lived there in the 20's
Amy must have lived with her son George for awhile after Samuel died as I know she lived with my nan ( her daughter ) till she died in the 50's
I'm not sure how Eliza got on the shipping record Amy had no middle name, Samuel did have a sister Eliza thou..
Thanks again for your help, it is much appreciated..
Roz :-)

Hi Roz

It is obviously an error on the shipping record.  I have read some of the writing was extremely difficult to read.  Perhaps a look at the shipping records may help.

Unfortunately the online electoral rolls for NSW are only available for the years 1930 and 1936.   Victoria electoral rolls are available for years 1919, 1924 etc. I would say they moved between 1914 and 1919 as they didn't appear on the Vic 1919 rolls.

Cheers
