I think Jan said that Unity may have been married twice, so she could have did with an unknown (to us!) surname.

I wonder if the child (RIchard?) belonged to the Evans/Williams marriage, because that would give us a date of when (presumably) she was still married to Evans, and we could then search for another Unity Williams marriage

There are 13 Richard Evans with mmn Williams born between 1940 and 1950 - unfortunately none of them were waving a red flag and jumping up and down saying "It's me! It's me!"
