« on: Monday 20 April 09 06:54 BST (UK) »
On this glorious, sunny afternoon, hello!  :)

I would appreciate a lookup for Dorothy Lois BETTS, who was born in South Australia on the 24th Jan 1904.

I would like to know the names of her parents and her birthplace please.

Cheers

Elsie

I heartily agree....bring on inches of rain!

Thanks Cando. I can now see where she fits into the family.

Perchance did she have any siblings?

Cheers

Hi Elsie!

Dorothy Lois Betts is my grandmother. I have just started to look into my family history and found a few of your posts. I was wondering what your connection is to the Betts family and if you were ever able to go back further than Richard Betts, born in 1822 I think and married to Tracy?

Would love to find out more information as my Dad is very interested too and has done prolific work on his father's side of the family (Whittaker), but not his mother's side.
