Pinnell/Stent Family

Hi folks,does anyone know anything about the Pinnell/Stent family?My Mum was Gertrude Emily Pinnell born Edmonton Hertfordshire 1921.Her mum was Maria Gertrude Emily Louisa Jeanette Stent born Trafalgar Rd off the Old Kent Rd 1895.Her Dad was George Edward Pinnell born 1896 Hackney.I've only just started researching my mum's family,so any help would be great.Does anyone have a tree with these names on.I was born  in Leicester,so who do I contact in London for info.

Rose L Stent married a Albert A S Pinnell Edmonton June qtr 1922 ref 3a 1023 ?

Hi Jennifer,this could possibly be Maria's sister,born to Charles Stent and Ester Hadley 1898.It's the "Pinnell" side I'm having trouble with.
I have;
George Edward Pinnell 23 Sept 1896 born to;
George Pinnell 1872 and Alice (Maud) Charters.
Then all I've got is;
George Pinnell born to;
?? and Mary A.
In the 1881 census,Mary was a widow,and there is no record that I can find on the 1871 or 1861.The children were born Bethnal Green Middlesex.
George 1872 had a brother called Albert born 1868.Could that be who Rose married?
Has anyone got a tree with these names on or do you have an Archive number that I can ring to find out more info?

Hi, There appears to be a George Pennell aged 9 & a George Pinnell on the 1881 census with the mother Mary?

Have you got your George's marrige certificate to Alice Charters which would give is father's name and occupation?

What evidence do you have that George Pennell b 1872 had a brother called Albert ?

So it seems that the above Marys son George b 1872 is not the child of her husband Edward Geo as he had died 2yrs previousley

                  Mary A. PINNELL b.1861 Bethnal Green 20yrs
PENNELL/PINNELL?? Same people different spelling??
I have not sent for the marriage cert yet,which will determine who George's(1872)father is.George or Edward.Ahhh,brainwave!! George 1872 had a son who was called GEORGE EDWARD.My Grandfather.He was born 23 Sept 1896.What do you reckon?
