Donaldson-Selby - Help please

Hi Barbara,

I spotted them and have added them to my list of other Donaldson Selby's of whom I have no idea who they are. I am hoping that as I dig more and more, they will come to light.

I know my John Strangeways Donaldson had a cousin also called John Donaldson and I suspect a lot of these people may be part of his family. Not sure at all ....

Hi Barbara,

I have solved the mystery of John Strangeways Donaldson's 2 marriages - we have 2 John Strangeways Donaldsons in the family - one born 1788 (he married Elizabeth Henderson) and the other born 1794 who married Mary Dorothy Grey (of the Earl Grey Tea family!. These guys are cousins.


And then there was another cousin John Donaldson!!

All very complicated....
