Hi Anne, Richard Hayden and Elizabeth Parkerson were married at Willingham 26.11.1781. Elizabeth was buried at Willingham 25.11.1831. Richard and Elizabeth were my wifes 4 xgt grandparents. Did you know that Sarah Hayden had an illegitimate daughter, Jane, she was baptised 16.9.1836 at Willingham, was buried 24.9.1836. I did not know she had married a James Hammond.
Have you details of Sarah's siblings? if not I can send them to you. Sarah's brother Parkerson had a criminal record, at one time he was given 7 years transportation, could not have been carried out as he was in Wakefield Goal with 2 other men related to him for stealing Wheat. I have the court records. Perhaps poor Parkerson did not have a good start in life, he was born to Elizabeth 3 years after her husband Richard had died.
Parkerson married a Mary Curby/Kirby at Wilburton 6.10.1828, they had 9 children. Parkerson was buried 1878 and Mary 1875, both at Willingham in Plot 541.
While checking on Elizabeth Hayden's burial I came across the following which may be of help.
William Garner aged 69, Buried 1.3.1831
Thomas Garner aged 34 Buried 6.6.1831.
Edward Garner aged 26, Buried 7.4.1831.
Eliza Garner, aged 10 months buried 13.11.1831. All at Willingham.
Hope this will be of interest to you.
My wife was born at Over, next to Willingham.
Kind Regards,
Kaysy.
