Hello again.
Thanks for your reply to me. I have since found out from a distant cousin that my GGrandmother Ellen Furlong's parents names where ''Thomas Furlong & Ellen Thorpe'' so, your Sarah Furlong and my Ellen can't be sisters, however, their must be a connnection somewhere with them as it can't be just a coincedence that they lived in the same place (as shown) on the 1911 Census can it? Do you have a ''Thomas Furlong'' anywhere in your Husbands ancestors?
My Ellen went on to Marry ''William Sunderland'' in 1909, they had 5 daughters-starting with the eldest)- Margaret born 1910( My Grandmother),Ellen,Mary,Bridget & Elizabeth. Ellen and William sadly parished in the Black/Spanish Flu in 1918 and all the Girls where then taken in at St Michaels Orphange in Summerhill-Co.Wexford. Such a very sad story, as my Grandmother never really spoke of her time in ''St Michaels'' until later on in her life.
My Grandmother went on to Marry my Grandfather ''Patrick Burke'' in 1929 and they lived in Ferns.Co.wexford and had 18 children (15 Alive) My mother ''Ellen'' is the 5th child born in 1938-She lives in East Sussex.
In the 1960's My Grandparents emmigrated to The UK. My Grandmother passed away in 1981 and my Grandfather in 1976.
I would love to know more about my Grandmothers Ancestors but finding it very difficult.I have got scraps & Scrapes of Info from people on here, which i am most gratefull of.
I would love to see your Family Tree.
