any info on the familys above would be of a great help. most of the christian names are HENRY/THOMAS/JULIA/MARY. date ranges from 1827 downwards.

I'm sure RootsChatters would love to help, but a bit more detail would help.  Can you give a bit more information so that others have a chance of providing the right sort of help  ;)

What area of the country did these people live?  Do you have any specific dates, addresses from census etc.

thanks nell for replying the area of the country is SHEFFIELD. The earliest dates i av is 1793 and1827 anything before or after them dates for the brown/wardle/farmer family would be great. Anything on the whitham family which includes the names WILLIAM/HENRY/ANN ESTHER/ANN/THOMAS/MARY/JULIA. All the female names were married to a WHITHAM. I am after people pre 1827. Also i forgot the surname STANIFORTH in my list of surnames. Hope i av given the details that you want. The males were all filesmiths/cutters ETC. I yhink WILLIAM was a farmer by trade but not 100% sure on that with him marrying MARY FARMER.
