Sorry, don't have any pictures but I am looking for any information you may have on William's parents, George McKenzie, mason, and Janet Fraser.

Hi Bob,
Thanks for that info on George McKenzie, as the only suitable marriage between a George McKenzie and a Janet Fraser was 25/09/1797 in Inverkeithing.

Regards

Are these related to any of the MacKenzie's of Tranent, East Lothian?  Specifically Alexander MacKenzie and Christian Knox from Tranent?

Thanks so much in advance,

When you have both made three (or is it two?) posts to the forum you can exchange e-mail addresses via the PM (Personal Message) system.

But please consider that if you do that rather than exchanging basic information about your forebears in the online forum your search will not then be visible to any future relatives who may come across it.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
