Hello, Peter,

You would need to look at the original PRs for these two requests & these are held at the London Metropolitan Archives.

http://www.cityoflondon.gov.uk/Corporation/LGNL_Services/Leisure_and_culture/Records_and_archives/

In time these PRs will be available on line in Ancestry.co.uk.

What info were you hoping to find  ?   You will not glean very much from PR entries of these dates.  You will probably have found William Warner Wilson's bapt in the IGI which also give you his birth date of 26th Aug 1820.  The PR entry will be a one line entry stating, son of John & Phoebe Wilson, possibly John's occupation & possibly an address.   The marriage entry will be a very simple form (3 to a A4 page to give you some idea of size) this will state whether to the participants are OTP (of this parish) or possibly the parish they came from ( not necessarily where they were born), the names of the bride & groom, their signatures or X, & the names of two witnesses, the date & church & the name of the presiding priest.  Not parent's names are shown, it is worthwhile checking whether either of the witnesses bears the same name as the couple being married, sometimes, if you look thro' the marriages taking place the same day, you will see the same name occurring as a witness, this usually means that the couple did not have the needed two witnesses & a church lay member stood in as one.

Did you know that Edward Warner had a elder brother (source IGI) ?

George Warne Wilson
born 11th Feb  1819
bapt 23rd June 1819  St Lukes Finsbury
( this is shown as Warne in the IGI entry)

Thanks Meloria
I may have to wait until they become available on Ancestry, or I suppose I could order a copy of the micro film from the LDS.  All those little bits of information can help with the bigger picture.

many thanks
Peter
