Hi Barbara,

I am watching the restores which are superb so far with interest.

i think that Jim and China are right about the dates, it looks almost modern to me, that hairstyle i mean.

i had my hair like that in the 70's, some ladies don't follow fashion, i am one of them  ::) which makes it interesting doesn't it

Hi Rabbit, the restores are so good, aren't they, I'm waiting to see any others that may appear.

Yes, I  am now using the era (1905 ish)  that Jim & ChinaKay arived at,as my guide for trying to work our which of my relatives these 2 people are.

With the new date in mind, I now think that there's a possibility that the young girl, showing left on the screen, could be the daughter of my Gt Gt Aunt who died in childbirth in 1891, leaving a young daughter.

My Gt Gt Aunt appears standing up between her parents in a restore done for me by Rootschatters a few weeks ago.

If you'd like to look at that picture for a comparison and see what you think, the link is as follows:

I'd be interested in your opinion.

Cheers

Barbara.

Hi Paula,

A massive thanks, you've done a brilliant job on this difficult photo and the colours are lovely.

You've been a great help to me towards restoring this set of photo's, they were so old & faded that I didn't think much could be done with them.

Now I've got a great little album together.

I have some other old photo's but this particular set was the one that was extra special because it concerned My Gt Gt Grandparents and my Gt Grandparents.

So thanks again for your hard work, it's really appreciated.

Thanks also to the following who have all helped me with their contributions:

Jim, ChinaKay, Saddles, Recycled Hippy, Gadget, Mudge, Sutton rog, Styles Lisa, Beardgrandchild, Irene, Teltoons, Little meg & Billkent.

Hope I've not missed anyone out.

You're a great bunch.

Cheers
