Hi James

Just trying this out in colour - sometimes the colours, etc. look different on Rootschat than on my own monitors  ::)

I'm fascinated by the object on the table - I think it might be an elaborate bronze ornament of some kind.

That really is a great makeover Gadget. The hair colour is very accurate.

I have no idea what the object on the table is, but it does look like a bronze of some sort.

Thank you once again for the kindness of going to such trouble

I've poured a glass now too  ;)

It is such a lovely portrait and it was a pleasure to work on.

hi gadget,
that is beautiful, as are the other restores. what a wonderful picture.

part of the bronze on the table is a pheasant, in this light i cannot see the rest James, but i will try and look again in daylight.

Here's an enlarged version of the ornament. Because I've enlarged it, it's showing a few pixels but it might help identify it.

hi gadget,

thanks for enlarging this ornament, i will do some research on it tomorrow. i am not so sure it is a pheasant now, the beak and eye look wrong.

unless, it is a golden one in another country, that is a very exotic plant.

i will try and get some info if i can
