NN,

Have you googled the cemetery? If so then you will find that Genuki has some information about the Family history society who cover that area and the data that they sell.

They have a CD for sale, showing the monumental inscriptions for many cemeteries including Loftus. I have no connection with that society but have found it myself after reading about your problem.

Tom

  Hi Nastynetty

I cant help with your original request but,my Watson search has also taken me back to Loftus.
Is this a small parish ? if so there may be a connection ?
So far the info I have gathered is very limited and am struggling to find anything,my info is
William Watson. born c1761 Loftus. married Jane Adamson born c1760. married 1785 in Loftus.
The only child I can find is Adamson. born c1805 in Loftus. All of Adamson,s children were born
  in Lythe.

  Hi Netty

Thank you for your kind offer, would love to have a look at your tree on Genes Reunited
but,I am not a paid up member does that matter ?
I am happy to pass on any info that may be of help and feel free to have a look at my
tree on Genes it may not be very helpful though as the info on the "Loftus" Watsons
is sketchy to say the least.

   Barbara

    Hi Netty

This is all I have so far.
William Watson born about 1750 in Loftus. married Jane Adamson born about 1755.
son - Adamson Watson born about 1805 in Loftus. married Margaret Davison born Portsmouth.
Adamson is the only child I know of.
IF we do have a connection it may be from one of the other children of William and Jane,
    or a brother of William.
    My e.mail is barbara.macleod1@xtra.co.nz.
Hope you get the email ok as Roots will probably remove it.

    Barbara  ;)
