Hi there my greand father was edward totten as far ar i know he came from ballinderry area lisburn and is buried in mageragall.

Hi Karen,
Philip's father's name was John Totten and he was a labourer.  According to some info. I received a few years ago, John was married to Mary Montgomery in Glenavy parish church in 1813.  To date I have been unable to fine any birth information for Philip's son Thomas Totton.

Some of you may have seen this already but none of the posts mention it so just in case:

There is an extract from the 1851 census in the application for oap pension that relates to 3 generations of (part of) the Deerpark Totten family.  That entry does not have a Philip however.

Hello,
I am looking for any living relatives of the Totten family from Pomeroy, Co Tyrone. I read your post about the Totten family in Co. Tyrone. My mother Jean Totten was born on a farm in or around Pomeroy in either 1004/1905. She had 1 sister & 4 brothers & they were farmers
Any information would be appreciated
