Hi Lizzie, Still looking, I have 5 lever arch files packed full of newspaper reports covering the 1840's to the 1890's so there are quite a few to pour over, wish I could do a text search.  ???

I also have a further 2 large black boxes full of reports that have yet to be dated, so it could be in there, I would love to see your reports though.

Hi John

I was only asking out of curiosity.  Isaac Cass is not a direct ancestor of mine, he just married my g.g.grandfather's daughter.

I transcribed the newspaper reports that I found in 19th Century British Newspapers - that is the Gale site, but I can access it via my library subscription - so I'll pm them to you later this morning.
