You do not state where your Johnson ancestors are from, but as you will see it is unlikely if
they are Derbyshire they are connected to Andrew Johnson.
William Johnson = Katherine? they had:-
Michael bpt 2.5.1657
Benjamin Bpt 25.2.1658/9
Andrew Bpt 7.12.1660
Margaret Bpt 2.8.1663
All the Children were Bpt in Cubley, however the Parents were not from Cubley and moved
to Lichfield Staffordshire soon after 1663.
Andrew (1660 -1729) was apprenticed aged 23 (very late) to his older brother Benjamin in London
for 7 years which ended 1690. He returned to Litchfield where the bpt of 2 children is recorded
Michael 1691 Catherine 1693 (Wife's name not known) These children left no descendants.
Moved to Birmingham 2nd Wife Sarah Fisher married 13.11.1696 Harbourne B'ham, at least one child
Fisher Johnson who lived and died in Wiston Leicestershire.
His youngest son was a Thomas and there was possibly an Issac.
3rd wife Sarah White.
Andrew lived and worked in Birmingham. This info is from the many volumes (14?) of Johnsonian
Gleanings, which gives extensive information about the Johnson Family and the relations which
