Could someone who has access to the 1911 census see if they can find the whereabouts of a Jane Maud Chambers sometimes known as Maud Chambers born 1886 Eye, Suffolk. Wish to find out where she was in 1911 please. Thanks. Sally,

Hello Sally,
There are a couple of points here:
1911 census is pay to view so you can look it up yourself at
http://www.1911census.co.uk/
I did have a quick look at the indexes and got nothing and then checked 1901 and Births: do you mean Jane Maud M Chambers born
1886
not 1896.
There is one in 1901 with parents William and Jane.
Using that criteria, she is possible with Jane in 1911 but as I said, you can get this information by payment.
best wishes

Apologies - I didn't realise you only wanted a check. Some people do post thinking that it is 'free' site if we have a general subscription to other sites.
It wasn't quite clear.
I was sure you had written 1896
However she does seem to be there Sally.
best wishes

Looking again, her father is there too as Robert W, rather than William R as in 1901. Most of the family are there with them, I think.
Hope you have found them now.

This is my grandmother who I am also researching. I beleive she lived with her parents in Eye in 1911. Do you have any information you can share?

Hi Sally Thank you for your quick reply. Rootschat has deleted your direct e mail address so I have to reply on this. I am interested in anything you have on Jane Maud's children and parents. My mother - her daughter- did not talk about her family as a child. I have recently met with Brian who is also a grandchild of Jane Maud and his mother did not say a lot about the family either! We are now both interested in anything you can tell us. Please send me anything you have. My e mail is (*) - although Rootschat policy will be to delete my e mail address.
regards
Philip
