Hi
I am Looking for any Information on the village of Swinhill.I had many relations who lived and worked there over the years and I am intrested to know more now that it was demolished for the M74 motorway.

Hope one of them might help
Census information is Crown Copyright from TNA.

I have googled Swinhill and though there are one or two intresting results most seem to be of current buisness.

I think most of the old Swinhill village remained after the M74 was built
