Eliza Sarge, wife, 39, York

Robert W., son, 16, Copmanthorpe, York, coal merchant jun (clerk)
Robert A., son, 4, York
Eliza G., daughter, 14 Copmanthorpe, York
Mabel M., daughter, 2, York

My Henry Thomas was born in York.  His father was John and Henry had a brother named Robert (possibly Robert William).

That's wonderful!  If you're interested in knowing more about this family, there is more out there on children etc.

Hi Kooran:
My dad's cousin's husband has done extensive research on Henry Thomas' children and descendants.  I am looking through his paperwork and don't see anything about Robert and Eliza Sarge and their children. (I may have more notes somewhere else, however.)

Actually, it appears as if Henry Thomas' siblings died in York, England.    He has:

Fannie Sarge, 1830-1904
John Sarge, 18??-1922
Robert Sarge, 1833-1899

I wonder if there were two Robert's born around the same time, in York?  Unfortunately, I have to work today, so will not be back until late tonight.  I would love to hear about any internet sites that I can search (excluding AutomatedGenealogy, WWI papers, OCFA).  I will revisit the attestation papers; I believe I have seen Sarge's there.  (I actually should try all of my favourite Ontario sites, now that I believe the "new" Sarges could be related.)  I do not have access to Canadian Ancestry.
