John Williams, innkeeper of Bontnewydd near Caernarfon.
« on: Thursday 26 March 09 17:06 GMT (UK) »
I am searching for any information on John Williams who was the innkeeper at the Newborough Arms in Bontnewydd, near Caernarfon for the approximate period 1821 - 1830. I believe he later moved to Ty'n y Coed in Llanbeblig and is the John Williams who was there at the time of the 1841 census. His wife, Anne, died in 1855 and is buried in Llanbeblig cemetry. I can find no likely reference however to John either in the Llanbeblig parish records or the memorial inscriptions.
Any help gratefuly appreciated.
