Daughter of Samuel Wiltshire Pinnell and Kate (born Frances Catherine Edwards), she is living with Mum and rest of family in 1891 at 1 Rose Villa, The Friary, Salisbury. I can't see her after that. Where did she go ?

Cannot find a suitable marriage or death.

Davierj - Thanks for the tip.

The Swindon one is a good possibility as the family were in Swindon by that time.

Husband appears to be Ivon Van Den Driessche, but cannot find Annie or Ivon on the 1901 or 1911 censii.

(The other couple on the 1899 registration were Harold & Julia (nee Willis) Blackall - found on 1901)

The Swindon one looks good, in that case, as Ivon appears on the same page.   Simple matter to order marriage certificate.

Annie Pinnell married Ivo Van den Driessche and they moved to Belgium. She died in Zwijnaarde in 1975 (at the age of a 100 years). Her son is still alive.

Atalanta - Many Thanks for letting me know what happened to Annie.

I'm not surprised that she made to 100 - other relatives on that side of the family made it to their late 80s/early 90s (including her mum).  I presume her son is around 100 yrs of age too.

She must have led an interesting life particularly if she was in Belgium during both World Wars.

Hi Kanskar,
During WWI they went to England for a few years. Her son was born there in 1915. He will be 97 soon.
Annie and her husband Ivo both worked for an English family that owned a castle in Belgium. They first met at the castle. She worked as a nanny/cook and he started as one of the stableboys. When the horses were replaced by cars, he became the family's chauffeur.
I'm one of Annie's great-grandchildren. Are you a relative?

Atalanta - Thank you for your most interesting information.

I'm not related to Annie, but my wife is.

One of Annie's mum's (Kate (Frances Catherine)) younger sisters was Angelina (who married Harry Lewis Clark).  My wife is their great-great granddaughter.
