1861 Census help please - completed
« on: Tuesday 24 March 09 11:27 GMT (UK) »
Hello there

I am failing to find a Letitia Twycross Bridg(e)man in the 1861 census.

In 1841 she was living in Finsbury with her husband James, in 1851 they were in Hackney.

Letitia died in 1870 aged 73 in Edmonton reg district so she must be somewhere in 1861 (her husband seems to have died in 1859).

In 1851 her place of birth was stated as Yorkshire and I am keen to find out if there are more details on the 1861.

If anyone can find her I'd be very grateful.

All the best

Ashley

Well done Carol - that marriage is the icing on the cake (or is it on the Lemon Meringue Roulade?)

No sorry-as I just told Liz,we forced ourselves to finish it all last night  ;)

How inconsiderate of her to die in 1870 and not hang on till the 71 census!

Do you know if Letitia was related to the Wokingham Twycrosses?
