Basically, they are usable for linking to internet images.
For adding images from the computer, they need to be "attached"

For those of you wanting to use animated gifs as avatars, first thing you need to know is size matters, the biggest that I have been able to put into place is 76 x 76 pixels  26765 bytes, I have tried using the original size but it stops the animation so I use this on-line resizer,

I'm trying to upload a picture on another topic but the relevant boxes aren't appearing as they do on this topic. Please advise why not
