Thank you so much for your trouble. These messages don't seem to carry a date, so don't know how old your
message is - we've been overseas for 6 weeks.
This marriage certainly looks likely. The date of the marriage is the exact same date as their sailing from Dublin
for Liverpool with his Cheshire Regiment. When he enlisted at Birr, Kings country in 1833 he gave his
occupation then as shoemaker. But I guess he could have changed to carpentery in that 7 years.
Can you tell me what is ....of N/R  ?         
On 8th. Jan 1841 William and Catherine embarked for India from Gravesend. Their first child  Letitia is shown to be born
in Poona in 1841. There were 7 children in all born in India.
