Why doesn't it work for me?

Unless I'm lucky enough to want an entry on the top left page of a register I can't see the whole entry - apparently on everything I try to view and I downloaded the enhanced viewer.

Sadly even with the enhanced viewer I can't see the bottom half of  an entry. Logically, I thought viewing the next image would solve the problem but it doesn't

I know we are all excited that these records have been launched, but we are being watched by the powers that be to ensure that the terms and conditions of use you agree to when you sign up to Ancestry are not contravened.

Please do not ask for look-ups or offer to do look-ups.

the viewer works for me great.

I've already saved the equivalent of a years ancestry subs on marriage entries for one name only in less than an hour!

If you are still having problems, the suggestion is to turn off your pc and try again. If it still doesn't work then you'll have to send a message to Ancestry. They do know people are having problems with the viewer but as long as it's the latest one, you should be able to see the images. More people than not are seeing the images.

My popup blocker was blocking the new viewer download, but it's all working fine now - I knew it must be something I was doing wrong

My 295 QUESTEDs are now in a spreadsheet - and am in the process of saving all the images I want.

There are not really 295 - 7 are variants and the others are all duplicated by the Ancestry search (ie the spouses are all listed again).  The Banns are mostly boring, but seeing the actual register page is great.  But still, a hundred odd of them, some I have never heard of.  Lots of work tonight and the nights to come.

Looking at the quality of the pre-1813 scans, I think it may be some time before these are indexed, if at all.  Also, I note that some of the offerings have been available on CD for quite some time (i.e. most of the Greenwich area), and in some cases the scans on the CD's seem to be better than the ones featured on Ancestry.
