I dont have any ancestors outside of the midlands and wales.

which i suppose has been better for me with them not moving around much.

Here's hoping the entire parish records for the country will be up in the future.

Am I the only person who doesn't have ancestors anywhere near London?  Everyone seems to have them, my only one was born in Middlesex but baptised in South Shields 5 years later  ::)

I don't have any ancestors in or near London. I do have descendants of siblings of ancestors though.

Ancestry now has a full page feature on the LMA archives on their site, emblazened with a "Coming Soon" sticker at the top of the page !  8)

Nick that "coming soon" sticker has been there for weeks, I even posted a link about it a few weeks back on here in a tread you posted in, did you not see it ;)

I saw you had started this thread and for one minute I thought you were announcing the first lot had been released for us to search on. Oh how you have disappointed me ;D

Sorry, I haven't seen the "Coming soon" thing before.  I knew that Ancestry was launching the LMA records since it was announced in September 2008, and I knew that the launch was in Spring 2009, but I hadn't seen the Ancestry "Coming Soon" page before.  On the US site there are lots more tempting goodies also "Coming Soon" :)
RIP 1949-10th January 2013

Best Wishes,  Nick.

The information page says they have had eight people working full time on the project at the LMA since early September 2008.   There appear to be an awful lot of records to photograph.  If the release is alphabetical we may be waiting longer than two years for Wandsworth ::)

Haven't seen any mention either way.   Probably more money  :)   But by the sound of things it will be worth it - especially for people overseas like me ;)

Just found out from the 1911 census that my g.grandfather was born in Bethnal Green, hopefully one of the earlier places to be put onto Ancestry.  Maybe there'll be something about him in the LMA Archives, but then again probably not. ::) ::)
