I can't find any of the LAM Poor law records on Ancestry now and I know I've looked at them in the past.

Can someone post the link? or have they been removed?

A lot of people can't see the rh side of the images.

To solve the problem, apparently, you need to download the enhanced viewer.

the link is here

http://landing.ancestry.co.uk/lma/default.aspx

Baptisms & burials still aren't working.

Have a look at the unindexed images from the old parish registers 1538-1812

Well, just goes to show, don't trust dates other people give you!
I had the marriage index ref but a contact gave me a date of the 25th Mar 1885 and the image clearly says 23rd March

Oh happy days...double checking some of the certs I already have, the ancestry scan is very clear compared to the certs.

as in one of my ancestors in-law descendants once said "I'm just stepping ouside for a moment, I might be sometime"

 ;D ;D ;D

Please acknowledge when a restorer works on your photos, it can take hours for them to work their magic

Please scan at 300dpi minimum to help save the restorers eyesight.

must admit this will save me many £££'s as i had a page of certificates to check out and maybe buy,
and already confirmed that 3 are the ones that i want, and looking at the scans i doubt if i need to buy the originals
as they give the same info, so good stuff :)

Hi Les

These are better than the ones you get from the GRO as you have the true signatures not the transcriptions supplied by the vicars when they did their quarterly returns.

and it didn't find a number of certificates i KNOW are correct and should be there

Sadly even with the enhanced viewer I can't see the bottom half of  an entry. Logically, I thought viewing the next image would solve the problem but it doesn't  :(

Very annoying.
