I am descended from Alexander Methuen Lambert (b 1824 Queenstown, Cork) who came to Australia, probably in 1849. His father MAY have been William Lambert (b1807 Cork) and his mother Ann Carr - married c1832. He may have had connections to Wiltshire but that is speculation.
If anyone can help me on tracing the origins of Alexander or his wider Lambert family I would be very appreciative. I can provide much on my Lamberts in Australia.
