KNOWLES FAMILY

Could someone please help me?  I am looking for the ship my grandfather, John Thomas or Thomas John KNOWLES came out to AUSTRALIA with his parents, JOHN AND PRISCILLA KNOWLES and siblings.  I am not sure what year it was - could be anywhere from 1881 to 1899.  I am not sure where they would have landed - could be Melbourne?
Sorry my details are vague, do hope someone could help me or give me a site I could start a search on.  Thank you

Rosalind - just a thought  -  you might get more results on the ship if you post on the Australian board   ;)   Lots of people on there are excellent at this sort of query  :D
