Thank you everyone for the help on where to start looking again.  I have found that people have moved around so much and so often that a ten years span has the person in different countries or different states if they are state side.  I decided that I was going to throw up some of the Hugill information that I have for those that are in england.  As far as my Parker line I only have the father being listed as being in England on the census and it was listed as Yorkshire.  No dates or names.

So Hugill's:

John Charles Hugill - b. July 25 1878 in Batersby, Yorkshire  ..  d. Marion, OR, USA.
 -------Father- Joesph Hugill - b. 1850? Kildale, Great Ayton, Yorkshire .. d.  ? Dec 16, 1933? Marion, OR, USA
Father-  Thomas Hugill - b. 1819 ? Kildale, great Ayton, Yorkshire
                                                Mother - Mary ??   b. 1822 ?? Little Ayton, Easby, Yorkshire   ..  d.  1855 Yorkshire
--------Mother- Mary Wrightson b. 1853 ? Ingleby Greenhow, Carlton, Yorkshire  ..  d. Jan 02, 1936 ? Marion, OR, USA
Father- Charles Wrightson  b. 1829 Rainham, Norfolk, England   ... d.  Jan 29, 1917 Marion, OR, USA
                                                Mother- Hannah ???  b 1827 Alnham, Ingleby Greenhow, Yorkshire  ..  d. Aug 19, 1910 Marion, OR, USA

Thanks all, these Again all areas of Yorkshire that I have never even heard of and then I look at it and I cant make sense of it.  Here in the states, You can find people by city, state, and some times the county that the city resided in.  But to someone else that is not from here, I am sure that it is a pain in the rear as well and doesn't make sense.  LOL.  Anyways any thoughts, Ideas or other areas to look at please let me know.  I have a Huge thing going on Ancestry.com and If you think that you might want to look at all the information that I have or cant make sense of any of it...  have a look at ....  Hunt/Wright Family Tree.

Thanks all ...  If any one needs any help looking for anything here in the states, let me know.  I am great at finding things here, and I know and have traveled the states a lot and know or can find out about most areas.  Anyways, again thank you all for your help.  Any Advice is welcome.

Hi again
I've just had a quick look in the census returns and briefly find:
1881 census - Charles Wrightson living at Ingleby G. Yorkshire, with Hannah, his wife, and various children.  He is shown as a Farmer of 116 acres.
In the 1871 census he is at Carlton, Yorkshire and he is listed as an Innkeeper.
In 1861 he is in Ingleby G and shown as Gamekeeper occupying 13 acres.
I've just given this very briefly, but if you would like details of all the children (and there are several) I could let you have these too. This is just a quick response, as am sitting in bed with cat on one side and cup of coffee on the other!

Yorkshire is on the north-eastern coast of England.  Norfolk, where Charles appears to have been born, is further down, being the northern part of East Anglia - if you look at a map of the UK it looks like a lady riding a pig ;D and East Anglia is its derriere!

I'll have a  look later & see what else I can find, but knowing this site, someone else will have posted all sorts of detailed stuff in the meantime.

Your family sounds a  lot more interesting than the branch of my OH's tree which I am currently researching, so I've just had a peek at the 1851 and 1841:
1851 Charles, 22, Tailor, living with his parents Francis (50), gamekeeper (b. Ingleby G) and Ann (b. Woolar, Yorks) with sister Mary (13).

1841 finds Charles as an apprentice Tailor, living alone in Battersby, Yorks (age stated as 14).
Looks as though family went off to live in Norfolk briefly, and then returned home.

Right, must get up and take dog for walk before I start work on the garden...

Hi Lil,

a general tip:

if you enter a place name and genuki in a search engine, you will usually get the GENUKI page telling you which parish, registration area, etc.

Quote
in line with normal genealogical practice, this Information Service is structured according to the counties as shown in these maps of England, Scotland and Wales, and of Ireland, i.e., as they were prior to the re-organisation that took place in 1974 (1975 for Scotland).

As our research is usually before 1974/5, then this will tell you where to look for records.

e.g. barrow in furness genuki
http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/LAN/BarrowinFurness/

e.g. stockton on tees genuki
http://www.joinermarriageindex.com/pjoiner/genuki/DUR/Stockton/index.html

If it doesn't say explicitily in the text, then at the top of each page you will see a link to the county where this place is, or if you examine the the GENUKI-address, you will see the county's Chapman Code(*).
i.e. LAN = Lancashire, DUR = Durham

regards,
Bob
