John WADDELL b. 30 Aug 1841 ? Monaghan ? - parents John & Elizabeth McNally/MacEnally ?

It is claimed by one researcher he arrived in Australia on the 'Agnes' on 13 Feb 1842.  I can find no such record.

He died on 6 Mar 1907 in Bathurst, NSW - parents listed as John & Elizabeth.

This is perhaps yet another of my Irish brick walls.

HI
Like yourself I have hit many brickwalls in my Irish research.  My McNallys are from Cootehill, County Cavan - at least that is where they came from in the 1820's.  They seem to be a big family and might have had relatives in County Monaghan.  Maybe we shoud compare notes?

Hello Sue,

I'm sorry but I can't help you now. I've done maintenance on my database to keep it under 5000 and there is no longer a WADDELL branch there.

Regards,

Fred
