Florence Beatrice LITTLER

Hi,
I am trying to trace the death of Florence born 1901 as HOOD.
She was the witness of her mothers death in 1958 and records her address as 15 St Andrew's Road Salisbury, 1962 same address on fathers death cert and 1968 husband Richard's death 1968 but no.16 St Andrew's road. I have searched the deaths from 1968 onwards in the uk and nothing. Trying to narrow down if she went abroad by establishing how much longer she may have stayed at St Andrew's road from electoral registers.

Hello John

 Florence Littler (born c1902) and a Richard Littler (born c1892) and a Nevllie Littler (10 months?) arriving in the UK in 1933 from Australia.   Looks like address is 80 Hall Lane. I know it does not help much but thought you might be interested.

I think Richard went to Sydney in 1926.  Born 1889.  Plasterer like in other record.  On the same ship!!!! is Florence Hood. A 24 year old shop assistant.

I'm back
On the NAA site a Neville Littler, his wife and three children departed Southampton for Australia in 1969.  Florence could well have come here.  Let me know if I am telling you what you know.  Otherwise i'll see if I can find Florence.

Thats fantastic. Neville was born 1932 and married Adrienne Darby in uk 1960. By 1965 they had 4 children, Hugh, Nicola, Andrew and Neil. After 1965 they dissappear off my radar completly.
Francis Littler according to info from uk electoral regs stayed in Salisbury until 1975 and then totally dissapears again. I have trawled uk deaths and marriages from that date until 2005 and she is not recorded. I now do believe she came to stay with a family member. Francis did have 2 other children, Diane 1934 and Malcombe 1936 and they too have vanished as far as I can tell from 1970 onwards.
Must watch info posted on public board as they could still be alive.

Can not see Malcolm Richard Littler yet - but there is a candidate born (*) and on at least two occasions he visited Singapore, once in 1958 and once in 1960.  He  is single in 1958 and married in 1960.  He looks to be employed by Shell and is a V Engineer.  Richard Littler was in China in 1959.(He is living in 11 Queen Alexandra Drive, Grangetown, Sunderland and single). 
Could be the wrong Malcolm though!
Still have not found Florence.

It seems that Neville and Adrienne are still alive and living in Queensland according to white pages. Is it possible to check deaths after 1970/1 for Florence in Queensland??

I  do  Hope Jill removes her post or at least the birth dates  as these  are living people!!

Qld deaths are availabe  from 1915 - 1964 Deaths, on Microfiche so nothing after 1964

howevery  if you  have an area from  the White pages it may be possible to check cemetery listings
