Is there a list of the names anywhere?

I haven't managed to find an online link to a full list of names.
If you listen to the STV link, a gentleman, talking about his wee brother that died, mentions where one could find names prior to now.

Yes, it would be great to have lists of names.

My point though, in posting the link, was just to bring the memorial to people's attention.

Isn't it nice to have such a memorial after so many years!

When I'm on my travels looking for war graves, if I find any cilivian casualties, I include them, so .........

Hutton & Richmond

If any of the above names ring a bell with anyone, PM me for the full MI from whichever stone. Some stones list a single person, while others list entire families.

Don't know what information you have on your Henry Kane but will this help?
Henry Kane, aged 47 of 54 Waverley Streey, husband of Lena Kane.
Died March 13th, 1941 at Morrison Street.

This is an entry from the WW11 casualty listof 'Blitz' victims for the Glasgow area.

I did have this info. It was on the death cert.
I was just wondering where he might be buried, in the hope that I might find other members of the family.

I grew up adjacent to the "Tanks" at Dalnottar & both my parents lived through the Blitz as children.I have heard many tales of those nights.
My Mum's family were evacuated as their home was bombed but luckily they did return to the same one after the War & I was born there several years later.
My Granny lived in Burns St at the time & told me many tales of what happened.
My Mother's eldest brother was 14 at the time & would on occasions help his Father with his APW with his duties including removing an incendiary device which had landed on a neighbour's bed.
My Grandfather had went out to view the destruction with strict orders that everybody was to remain in the shelter until his return.
Uncle Tommy being a boy took no heed & headed to have a look.
He returned shortly after looking pale & sick.It was many months before he told my Mother of the horrible sights he had seen-bodies laid out on the street,body parts etc.
Yet my Mother says her parents made them feel so secure that she was never afraid & that her Father managed to guide them through Dalmuir to the evacuation point without seeing anything too traumatic apart from the bombed buildings.

I am going to take a wee trip up to Scotland later this month & as Dalnottar is a hop & a skip from Mum's I will be happy to take photos of the Memorial if anybody wants.

I need help on my search, my great-grandad/mother were Andrew & Catherine Archibald they lived @ Stanley Street....my grandmother Jessie lived in Fife and when she got word of the Blitz had a nervous breakdown and was never the same....does anybody have any info on family or area

I have a book called 'The Clydebank Blitz' that lists the offical casualties of the Blitz and has a wealth of other information.

There is no mention of Andrew or Catherine Archibald in the causalty list.
