Cope Family Dallington 1811
« on: Saturday 14 March 09 19:23 GMT (UK) »
Hi would anyone be able to help.  My family seem to have originated in Dillington at a place called Gains Hall .  Can anyone help with baptism records or family information regarding James Cope born in 1811 or James Cope born about 1790 who married a lady called Mary.
Many thanks,  Carol

Dillington is a hamlet of Gt Staughton, whose parish register hasn't been extracted onto the IGI or BVRI, nor is a transcript available from Hunts FHS. The good news that they have been filmed by the LDS so are available to order and view at your nearest LDS Family History Centre - there is one in Toulouse

There's a marriage in St Neots in 1809 between James Cope of Gt Staughton and Mary Mehew of St Neots

David, just along the road in Carcassonne
